Academy of Management Studies(AMS) - Academy of Management Studies has been established by the famous Dayanand Shiksha Sansthan, UP, Kanpur in memory of Late Dr. Virendra Swarup former MLC and Chairman of the UP State Legislative Council. The Sansthan has a tradition of higher education and is managing 21 educational institutions which consists of Law College, Graduate and Post Graduate Colleges for Men and Women.
AMS was established in 1993 at the edge of Dehradun city which is reputed as the educational capital of India. There is no interference in educational institutions from undesirable elements which is the case in most other cities and towns of India.
MBA
This is a two year full time programme approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Total number of seats are 120.
Students are admitted on the basis of their performance in written test conducted by AIMA (MAT) followed by group discussions and interview at AMS Campus. Admission is strictly on merit basis and in-take in the course is on all India basis so that the batch is cosmopolitan and the students learn to live, study and work in multi-cultural environment and as such are unlikely to face problems of adjustment anywhere in their working lives.
