AIT houses state-of-the-art computer systems from DELL, HP, IBM, WIPRO & SUN in its Ten Laboratories along with other labs viz; CISCO lab, Centre of Excellence (R&D Lab). The new systems procured are with Core 2 Duo Processor and the TFT Screen. Academic Alliance with Microsoft provides us with operating systems, servers and a large number of application software. The labs offer convenient access to a wide-ranging computer resources for students, staff & faculty. Total number of computers in the campus are 526. Networking and Internet The entire campus of the institute is connected through a Local Area Network (LAN) with backbone on OFC supporting a network of 1200 nodes. The computer laboratories, faculty computers and administrative offices are all networked. The institute has high-speed reliable Internet connectivity; round the clock, through a 4 MBPS dedicated Broadband leased line from Bharti and ISDN as backbone. The campus hostels are connected to the main server through Optical Fibre link. WiFi connectivity is also provided throughout the campus. Laboratories Electrical & Electronics Engineering Laboratory Electrical & Electronics Engineering Laboratory is developed specifically for training in Basic Electronic Circuitry, Analog & Digital Electronics with ample back up of equipment(s). It provides the students to design and test the electronic and electrical circuits. It is equipped with the state-of-art instruments like TRMS multimeter, LCR Q meter, Function Generator, Frequency Counter, CRO Wattmeter, Digital Kits, 3 phase measurement counter etc. Physics Lab Lab offers various Laboratory course in Physics at undergraduate level. The laboratory experiments are so devised to gain hands on experience on the concepts learnt in the theory classes. The experiments performed in laboratory include various topics related to Optics, Electricity & Magnetism, Semiconductors, Modern Physics, Mechanics and Lasers. Chemistry Lab Chemistry Lab has got all the necessary modern equipments like digital pH meters, digital conductometer, electronic balance, electric oven, water bath, hot plates, glass distillation unit, melting point apparatus necessary chemicals, glassware and fittings for every student. The experiments performed in laboratory includes general Chemistry, applied Chemistry and organic and inorganic preparations. Biotechnology Lab Biotechnology Lab has been a center of excellence since its inception. The Lab is equipped with all modern facilities, advanced and sophisticated instruments, special chambers for culture and instrumental analysis, general working benches etc. Instruments includes UV-Visible spectrophotometer, Transilluminator, Microwave, Laminar Air Flow Chamber, Cooling Centrifuge, Research Centrifuge, Rocker, electrophoresis Systems, Western Blotting System, incubator, Oven, Water Baths, Incubating Shaker Water Bath etc. Students of Biotechnology work on Molecular Biology, Immunology, Microbiology, General biology and Biochemistry as per their requirement. Hotel Management Infratstucture AIT provides a comprehensive Hotel Management program where academic learning is synergized with hands-on-training. The course structure focuses on hotel operational skills, management practices in the tourism & hospitality industry and the skills needed for continued learning for future managers in the hospitality industry. The students are given internships in top class hotels and various other hospitality ancillaries. The HM program is headed by highly experienced faculty having worked as General Manager in Taj Group of Hotels, Oberoi Hotels and Centaur Hotels with experience of 38 years in Industry. The students are being trained to pass out as the finest hospitality graduates in the entire hospitality industry. State of the art infrastructure for the program includes Front Office Lab, Housekeeping Lab, Training Restaurant, Basic Kitchen Lab (BTK), Quantity Kitchen Lab (QTK), Advance Kitchen Lab (ATK), Mock Guest Room, Bakery, Cafeteria and Computer Lab. After successful completion of their degree at Ansal Institute, the students will have opportunities for internships in India and overseas. Library AIT Library has three sections: Main Section, Reference Section and Auxiliary Section. It has a rich collection of relevant books, journals & educational CD-ROMs. The library has subscribed to national and international journals. Apart from that all the leading magazines are also subscribed. Library is fully automated & computerized by LS Ease software, which is an offset of LibSys the most popular and widely used software in the country. LS Ease is an Integrated Library Management System that supports all in-house operations of the library. Library also has online subscription of IEEE journals.
