Apeejay Institute of Technology (AIT) School of Computer Science is one of five schools located in the 29 acres of Apeejay Technology Campus at Greater Noida. The other four members of the campus are the School of Management, School of Architecture & Planning, School of Education and the International School. Located in the industrial and entrepreneurial area of Greater Noida, the Institute has the advantage of proximity to many well known multinational companies and industrial enterprises e.g. LG Electronics, Moser Baer, Honda Siel, Yamah Motors, Daewoo - Anchor factories to name a few which provide an ideal setting for Institute - Industry interaction. The N.E.P.Z. is also situated close by, which hosts a number of software companies and corporate houses.
AIT - School of Computer Science was established in the year 1997 which is culmination of the vision, inspiration and mission of educationist and philanthropist, Dr.Stya Paul, Chairman of the Society. The Institute is housed in its own aesthetically constructed building in a lush green and pollution free campus. The Institute is well connected with New Delhi through Public Transport via six lane state highway through DND (Delhi-Noida-Delhi) toll bridge or otherwise through State Express Highway. The School provides professional education and training in the field of Computer Science both at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. The Library
The school is equipped with a well- stocked library, containing books journals and magazines relevant to the field. The books cover all categories of interest and curriculum related studies including:
• Textbooks for Computer Science and Management in adequate numbers.
• Curriculum related reference books.
he books are added continuously on the recommendations of library committee and presently there are more than 7000 books from various fields including Computer Science, Management and Applied Sciences. Some of the library material is intended for reference only; others are permitted to be issued.
