Vashishtha who have been giving tremendously of themselves, has beautifully culminated into this illustrious venture. In today’s competitive era, mere sound educational background does not suffice. To carve a niche for oneself one needs to possess a personality that reflects intellect, communication skills that express well ones body language that speaks oodles of one’s self confidence and mental strength and last but not the least, the conviction in one’s abilities. So a magnitude of work goes into nurturing individuals who are a success in their career and life ahead. The Training Cell at BIT has taken this venture head-on and has relentlessly worked towards churning out a rigorous Personality Development Programme for its students. This programme is designed for students in all disciplines, in areas beyond academics, with a view to equip them with the required skills that are indispensable in the corporate scenario. The Department of Training is a strong team of professionals, proficient in their areas of expertise, with an enriching training experience both of the industry and academics. Being in full cognizance of the company requirement the Department extends its training programme in the field of Aptitude building (speed math’s logical reasoning, verbal and analytical skills). Soft skills training to inculcate interpersonal skills, confidence, team building, leadership and creativity, ability to manage time, stress and crisis situations. Communication skills is enhanced through an extensive exposure to extempore, group discussions, debates, role plays, case studies, reading and listening skills etc. A comprehensive schedule on technical skills in C, C++, JAVA, CAD, CAM, pharmaceuticals and management skills is also formulated to help students crack the technical round in the recruitment process. The institute has provided a complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell that is sensitized to function all through the year generating training opportunities for the students. Frequent sessions on Mock Interviews, presentation skills, resume writing, dressing etiquettes are also an integral part of the curriculum, thus, making students INDUSTRY-READY. This unique feature will surely enable students to have an edge over others in all fronts, hence coming out with flying colors.
