In such situation, it gets difficult for the students to cope with the syllabus.

The Delhi High Court directed the CBSE in January to take care of situation when private school has shifted a student in middle of the academic year.

Students have freedom to change their Stream/Subjects till October. They will not be charge any extra fees for doing that.

CBSE also asks schools to take care of attendance of these students and their results in unit tests 1 and 2. The rules relaxed for students who have missed their first few weeks of classes.
