Chemists College of pharmaceutical sciences & research Varikoli - Putencruz - Ernakulam Dist is a new venture of the Chemists & Druggists Educational Society.
The college has received the affiliation from AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), with an intake of 60 students per year. Kerala government has given the permission to start BPharm course and approved the college. The college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam in the year 2006.
The College was inaugurated by Smt P. K Sreemathy Teacher, Honorable Minister for Health & family welfare on 10th December 2006 in the presence of local MLA s Shri. K Babu, Shri. K K Jhony, Panchayathu President, Sri Thanu, Chairman College Committee, Shri. A N Mohan - AIOCD & AKCDA president, Sri T Raveendran, General Secretary AKCDA, Sri M A Surendran, District Panchayat Member, Sri Visalam Babu, Block Panchayat Member, Sri Reji Thomas, Panchayat member, Sri Saydu, Treasurer, AKCDA, Sri Sunny, President AKCDA Ernakulam District, Sri V O Mathai, immediate past President, CDES, Dr Ramanatha Pillai, President, CDES and Sri K R Kesavachandran, General Secretary, CDES.
The College, now entering into 2nd year has successfully completed the Ist year course of BPharm.
