CTET Sept 2015 - All about Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September 2015 Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates/Examination Schedule, Admit Card, Examination Centres and How to Apply for CTET Sep 2015 online.

The CTET 2015 Examination will be conduct on 20 September, 2015 throughout the country and abroad in which approx. 8.26 lakh candidates were registered for either Paper-I or/and Paper-II.

Important Dates/Time for CTET Sept 2015

1. Submission of On-line application : 30.07.2015 to 19.08.2015

2. Last date for Online Submission of application : 19-08-2015

3. Last date for payment of fees Through E-Challan or Debit/Credit Card by the candidate : 20-08-2015 (before 03:30 PM)

4. Period for On-line Corrections in Particulars (No correction will be allowed in any particulars after this date) : 21.08.2015 to 25.08.2015

5. Download Admit Card from CTET website : 04.09.2015

6. Date of Examination (Paper I & Paper II) : 20.09.2015

7. Time Of Examination (Paper I) : 09.30 TO 12.00 HOURS

8. Time Of Examination (Paper II) : 14.00 TO 16.30 HOURS

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the year 2015 is scheduled to be conducted in  2015.

CTET 2015 Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET.

Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 OR
. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)* OR
. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage:

. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
. OR
. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
. OR
. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
. OR
. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
. OR
. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
. OR
. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

How to Download CTET 2015 Admit Card

The candidates may download their admit cards from CTET website from 2.02.2015 onwards and appear for the examination at the given Centre. In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the admit card and Confirmation Page the candidate may immediately contact CTET for necessary correction.

In case the name and particulars of the candidate is not shown in the final list of candidates on CTET website ctet.nic.in on 2.02.2015, the candidate should approach the Assistant Secretary, CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre 45 minutes before the commencement of the examination. A candidate who reports at the examination center after the commencement of the examination shall not be permitted to sit in the examination. The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.

Fees for CTET- 2015 Examination

ON-LINE SUBMISSION– ctet.nic.in

Online Application has to be submitted by accessing the following CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. The candidate should supply all the details while filling up the ‘On-line’

Application. After depositing fee in Bank, Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page after successful submission of data. (if fees paid through Challan) and keep it for records and future reference if required.

The fee can be remitted in the following ways:

• Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

By Debit/Credit Card.

Application Procedure: 5 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online.

Step 1 : Fill in the Online Application Form
Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature.

The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.

Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.

Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.

Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) only.

Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height) only.

Step 3: Pay Examination Fee by Challan or debit/credit card:

Step 4: Update fee details on CTET website if payment made through Challan of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.

Step 5: Print Confirmation page for your record and future reference, if required.

The candidate particulars entered can be edited till the payment of fees has not been made. The candidate’s particulars cannot be changed/edited once the examination fees have been submitted.
