Hostel & accomodation:

DCE has 9 Boys and 3 Girls hostels in the campus that can accomodate around 1100 boys and 250 girls. These hostels are: Boys Hostels 1. Bhaskaracharya Hostel 2. Sir C. V. Raman Hostel 3. Sir I.C. Bose Hostel 4 Varahmihir Hostel 5. Sir Visversvaraya Hostel 6. Vivekanand Hostel 7. Subhas Chandra Bose Hostel (Type 1) 8. Chandra Shekhar Azad Hostel (Type 4) 9. P.G Hoste Girls Hostels 10. Sister Nivediata Hostel 11. Type V Girls Hostel 12. P.G Girls Hostels The inner view of the hostels. The messing services are provided in four of the hostels. These are Sir Visversvaraya Hostel, Bhaskaracharya Hostel Sir C. V. Raman Hostel and Sister Nivediata Hostel. These cater to the requirements of all the students residing within the campus. Every hostel has its own common room and gymnasium. Additionally every hostel suscribes to the latest magazines and newspapers for the residents. The hostels are connected to the campus via the campus wide wi-fi network which enables the residents to browse the internet and access the online library resources for their academic and research related work.
