In accordance with the provisions made in the Service Rules of various categories of teaching staff in the State of Haryana, RTE Act, 2009 and guidelines framed by the NCTE, HTET shall apply to –

i) Schools of the State Government / Local authority referred to in the Service Rules and also Sub-clause (i) of clause (n) of Section 2 of the RTE Act, 2009; and

ii) Schools referred to in Sub clause (ii) of clause (n) of the RTE Act in Haryana.

  • PRIMARY TEACHER – CLASS I TO V Exam Date: 02.02.2015  (SUNDAY)  FROM 10.30 AM TO 01.00 PM
  • TGT TEACHER – CLASS VI  TO VIII Exam Date: 02.02.2015  (SUNDAY)  FROM  03.00 PM TO 05.30 PM

Fee Structure for HTET Exam 2013-14:

For All Candidates except SC & Differently abled – Rs. 600/- (Per Level)
For SC & Differently abled of Haryana Domicile only – Rs. 300/- (Per Level)
SC & Differently abled of other state – Rs. 600/- (Per Level)

Application Procedure

BEFORE APPLYING ON-LINE, CANDIDATES MUST CAREFULLY GO THROUGH THESE INSTRUCTIONS 

i)  Carefully go through the INFORMATION BULLETIN - “Guidelines/Instructions -

Scheme of examination” available on the website of the Board  htet.nic.in

ii) Ensure your eligibility to appear in the examination.

iii) Proceed for remittance of examination fee through e-challan as per instructions given on the aforesaid website of the Board.

iv) Access/Login the website of the Board ( bseh.org.inOR  hbse.ac.in OR  htet.nic.in)and follow the instructions as mentioned in the column “How to Apply - On-line Application Form”. It is also essential that the candidates should mention their name, father‟s name, mother‟s name and date of birth as mentioned on their certificate of Secondary examination. Mentioning Roll No. of Secondary Examination, Year of qualifying Secondary examination and Name of the Board are also essential.

v) Candidates are advised to keep one copy of Computer Generated Application Form (Confirmation Page) with them for future reference. There is no requirement to send any hard copy of any document including Computer Generated Application Form (Confirmation Page) to the Board or any of its District Coordination Centres.

vi)                Online submission of multiple applications for a particular Level to the Board will be viewed seriously. Candidature of such candidates shall be liable to be cancelled and the candidate may be debarred for future examination

(s) without making any correspondence in this regard.

vii)              Candidates shall be allowed to make online corrections in their particulars and subjects (Except Level & Category/Physically Challenged Option) from 31-12-2013 to 02-01-2015 and afterwards no request will be entertained.

Structure and Content of Test:

All questions in HTET will be multiple choice questions. Each carrying one mark. With four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There shal be no negative marking.

Level - I - For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V : Primary Teacher

There shall be only one paper. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.

No.  of  MCQs  –  150;  Duration  of  examination:  Two-and-a-half  hours.
Structure and Content (All Compulsory):

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I (Hindi) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II (English) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(v.) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks

Level - II - For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage(TGT)

There shall be only one paper. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.

(i)   Child Development & Pedagogy (Compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks

(c) For Hindi/English/Sanskrit/Panjabi/Urdu/  Choose either (iv) (a) OR iv (b)

Home Science/Physical Education/Art/Music Teacher                  60 MCQs         60 Marks

Level - 3: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

There shall be only one paper in this category. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.

Admit Card

ADMIT CARDS WILL NOT BE SENT BY POST. The admit card will be available on Board‟s website. Every eligible candidate may download his/her admit card from the website (htet.nic.in) with effect from 20-01-2015 onwards and appear in the examination at the allotted examination centre. After taking print out of “Roll No./Admit Card”, go through the particulars etc. and if any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures is noticed, the candidate should immediately contact the Special Examination Branch of the Board and get the same corrected.

In case the roll no. of the candidate is not uploaded on the Board‟s website (htet.nic.in) by 20-01-2015, the candidate should approach the Special Examination Branch of the Board between 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM at least two days prior to the date of examination alongwith adequate proofs i.e. Photostat copy of Computer Generated Application form (“Confirmation Page”), a copy of payment challan in support of having deposited examination fee and an attested copy of certificate of having qualified Secondary(Xth Class) examination, two copies of photograph as uploaded on application form. 

  • The exact place and name of the centre for the test shall be mentioned on the admit card.
  • No candidate will be permitted to appear from the centre other than the one allotted to him/her. No request for change of centre will be entertained under any circumstances. If any candidate unlawfully appears from a centre other than the one allotted, his/her candidature will be rejected out rightly and result will be quashed without entering into any correspondence with him/her in this regard whatsoever.
  • Such eligible candidate who does not find his/her admit card on the Board‟s website  (htet.nic.in) may contact personally the “Special Examination Branch” of the Board‟s office at Bhiwani for this purpose at least one day prior to the date of examination during usual office hours i.e. 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. He/She would be required to bring with him/her adequate proofs i.e. Photostat copy of Computer Generated Application form (“Confirmation Page”), a copy of payment challan in support of having deposited examination fee and an attested copy of certificate of having qualified Secondary(Xth Class) examination, two copies of photograph as uploaded on the Application Form.
  • No candidate will be admitted to the Examination centre unless he/she produces the valid Admit Card having his/her photograph printed on it. In case a candidate does not download his/her Roll No. and does not appear in person at the Board Headquarters (Bhiwani) up to one day before the date of examination, his/her request for issue of Roll No. will not be considered and he/she will not be permitted to appear in the examination without valid admit card.
