The Training & Placement Office (T &P) of the College is headed by the Training & Placement Officer along with a group of active students. The T &P Office provides active support in placing the students in industries for Summer Internship experiences and also helps them in placement by inviting companies for conducting Placement Interviews at Campus as well as outside the Campus. Guest Speakers are also invited to provide counseling for career building and help the students to develop effective job strategies.
The Institute is fully committed towards quality education both in Theory and Practical. No amount of knowledge/education is valuable unless it is used for the betterment of the society and the nation at large.
To achieve this objective of using knowledge for industrial development, a close interaction between the industry and the institution has been established through the Training and Placement Cell.
We ensure overall development of the students in addition to their regular academic curriculum, by inviting experts from IT industry and other institutions of repute. In addition to this, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, Seminars and Industrial Visits are conducted regularly. This gives an excellent exposure to students, helping them understand the needs of the industry and also aiding them in their placement.
The Placement Cell is making all efforts to ensure Placement through Campus Interview and "We are sure that our students will meet the industry requirements".

However,IEC-CET ensures that the transition from home life to hostel life is a smooth one. Hostel staff as well as the teaching staff on campus is there for students in the case of an unforeseen exigency of or simply a query. The campus is also well-connected so that student~ can access the market areas outside the campus conveniently.
The hostel rooms at IEC-CET are spacious and clean. Excellent hygiene is ensured through regular maintenance. The dedicated staff for hostel services is efficient, helpful and co-operative. A feedback mechanism is also in place for students to report any untoward incident to the management, and prompt action is taken to address any crisis. While students are allowed the freedom to live independently, the manner in which they exercise the independence given to them is monitored so that no student misuses his or her independence and disturbs the others.
IEC-CET offers on campus residential facility for students. It has separate hostels for boys and girls. While the boys hostel has the capacity of 260 students on double sharing and triple sharing basis.The girls hostel is presently on campus with a capacity of 150 girls students on double sharing basis. However off campus hostel facilities of boys is also available . Hostel facility is compulsory for 1st year students.
IEC-CET provides its hostel residents with excellent services and facilities. Living on campus is not only a comfortable experience for IEC- CET's students, but it also gives them an opportunity to use the other facilities at IEC-CET (such as the Library and computer centre) till late evening. In addition, it gives them an opportunity to develop a healthy competitiveness with their peers, while at the same time bonding with them in an informal setting. It also enables students to develop into independent and responsible human beings. Parents of IEC-CET students are allowed access to the hostel premises not only to visit their children, but also to assess the facilities provided. IEC-CET is open to positive suggestions and feedback from parents as well as students.
