He established this Institution in 1994 in Delhi with the main objective of developing a centre for excellence in Management and Information Technology. Teaching Aids : Lecture sessions are conducted with the help of modern teaching aids. The Institute is well equipped with sufficient number of L.C.D., Projects slide projectors,educational-audio video cassettes, television etc, VCRs and other gadgets that are essential for modern professional institution. Railway Concession :The Institute has facility of providing railway concession forms to the students during the summer vacations, winter vacation, and other holidays if any, declared by the institute. Security Services : The institute has employed the services of private security agency to provide 24-hours connected with emergency alarm Security to the campus : Students are not allowed to leave the campus without proper permission from the departmental heads. Transport Facilities : IIMT provides transport facility to students from Delhi to Campus. This facility has been extended to hostellers also.

Hostel & accomodation:

Presently Ishan has 5 Hostels, each having a four storied building consisting of rooms with single, double and triple occupancy vailable for students. The present occupancy in hostel is for around 500 hostellers, available on first come first serve basis. Adequate arrangements have been made for quality food, clean drinking water and regular power supply. The campus is safe and secure place for both boys and girls. Each hostel has resident wardens to take care of the hostellers, wardens residential quarters are in their respective hostels. Since the wardens are chosen from the faculty member, they also help the students in their out-of-the classroom academic tasks. The hostel offers comfortable stay to all the students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls located within the campus only. The facilities provided, compensate for the lack of a 'home environment' and are also conducive to the fulfillment of their ambitions. The rooms are well furnished and have good sanitary and communication facilities. Common rooms have TVs, LCD Projector as well as DVD Player. The hostel not only provides a congenial living environment but also induces a sense of discipline, camaraderie and fraternity amongst the students who come from all over the country to study at the institute. The college ensures for proper security arrangement for the hostellers. At IIMT, you will find people from all over India, who while studying, become friends. For students who want to share the spirit of campus life. IIMT offers best hostel life, full of latest & executive lifestyle. Life at IIMT campus is active from early morning until late night and students enjoy the convenience of being in the residential campus within the premises of the institutional campus. It enables them to save lot of money, time and energy. There are 3 Boys Hostels namely Scholar House Alpha Hostel Century Hostel and 2 Girls Hostels namely Dr. S. Radhakrishnan G.B. Pant Hostel.
