Founded in 1997 and situated at Chettiarpalayam, Muthur in Erode District, Karuppannan Mariappan College is a self-financing Co-educational Institution, affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbature. It is run by the NADAR EDUCATIONAL TRUST, Erode.
The trust secured the approval of the Government of Tamil Nadu Vide G.O.M.S. No. 380/dt. 23.07.97 and of the Bharathaiar University, Coimbature Vide University Letter No. 11435 / A1 / 97. The college came into existence with a good strength of students and offering Seven undergraduate courses and Three post Graduate courses.
All the courses encourage the students to face the challenges of the present day and leave well equipped with the capability to enter a new life with confidence.
