Maharaja College For Women - Maharaja College For Women, education specially of the rural areas, in the tremendous task of improving the status of women, Maharaja College For Women was founded in the year 1990 by “Paramasivam - Palanisamy Charitable Trust”. The college is situated 3km from Perundurai., and fulfill the norms stipulated by the Government of TamilNadu and the Bharathiar University. Thus Maharaja College For Women came into being as 1st September’90 with student strength of 80 and offering three Under Graduate Degree Courses. Since then the college has secured affiliation to many more UG to PG Courses, MCA & MBA Programmes also started with the approval of the All India Council of Technical Education, Delhi. The Institution has established excellent infrastructure, including state-of-the-art computer and internet facilities, modern workshops and labs, seminar halls, auditoriums and well stocked libraries, in addition to indoor stadium with gymnasium, sports and games fields. The trust secured the approval of the Government vide G.O. MS No. 1709(ED) dated 27.07.1990 and of the University vide University Letter No. 7766/A2/90 dated 1.9.90.
