MS in Cyber Law and Security

Recent advances in computer technology has revolutionized almost all arenas of human endeavor. Cyber ​​world is limited to the world as a center of global information. So, cyber security issues and the regulatory mechanism has evolved a complex system. To understand the dynamics of computer security and cyber-law matrix techno-lawyers with the right mix of skills and technology are sorely needed.

The course offered in collaboration NLU and IMT - CDL aims to develop the skills necessary to absorb the problems of cyber security with a field of technology and deal with complex problems, while the legal online world. It also aims to provide a detailed understanding of the paradigms and international regulation and mechanics in the field of cyberlaw.

Eligibility:
Minimum eligibility for the Member States to Cyber ​​Law & Security has a degree in any discipline or a topic to be Indian or foreign university with at least 50% scores for all grade or equivalent for further research.

Access:
Students will have direct access to the program based on the criteria above. No entrance test is required.

Period:
This is a study program two years Graduate Degree consists of four semesters. Each semester is about 6 months and must be made in distance learning mode. Students must complete all the papers in 4 years maximum.

The structuring of the program:
The proposed program will consist of two parts: (i) Cyber ​​Law and (ii) Cyber ​​Security

A. A total of 16 courses will be offered in this program with four papers each semester.

b. The eight courses related to various security problems, and the remaining 8 courses are related to Cyber ​​questions cover a wide spectrum of legal system and the mechanism of regulation of cyberspace. These eight courses, including issues related to information technology management.

C. Each semester will have two courses related to cybersecurity and two courses in cyber law.

D. Structural design course, study material, contact classes conducted, study, evaluation of all eight courses Cyber ​​Law will be responsible for NLU. Making classroom:
Online classes will be conducted for this program. Faculty members of the NLU and IMT - CDL would be responsible to take courses for their respective courses.

Review:

a. End-term research carried out at the end of each semester.

b. The studies will be conducted at NLU and all study centers for IMT-CDL.

C. The student must secure 40% marks in each paper and 50% of total marks the end of

lessons.

D. Each student should have the right to attend a chance again, not the student must reregister for the entire semester again.

e. The student must pay a fee of Rs. 500 / - (500 only) to the second research paper.

f. The entire program must be completed within four years from the date of registration

g. The weightage or the distribution of marks in each paper will be:

(I) 30% for the preparation of the assignment

(Ii) 10% of programs contact absenteeism

(Iii) 60% for tests to run;

h. While the marksheets and other study materials in the MS containing the names of both institutions, the final grade to be awarded the logo and the name of NLU only.
