One of the finest Ergonomics and Human Factors Engineering Laboratories in addition to Physical Ergonomics, Occupation Health and Safety, Industrial Environment, Environmental Engineering, Energy Audit, Maintenance and Condition Monitoring, Audio Visual and Simulation Laboratories are at various stages of the development.

During the year 2006-07 NITIE conducted -- Management Development Programmes in which middle and senior level executives from various Private / Public Sector and Government Departments had participated. So far more than 44,158 Executives are trained by NITIE in various disciplines. These executives have participated in the short-term development Programmes conducted by the Institute.

NITIE's Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) aims to groom young managers who will not only design better procedures and systems but also manage the associated technologies successfully. PGDIM blends classroom work and hands-on industry internship. The program strives -

Infrastructure NITIE believes that its students are the cream of the student community and they deserve the best. The infrastructure support it provides to the students is a just expression of this belief. CLASSROOMS The classrooms are spacious and specifically designed to facilitate participative learning. They are equipped with all the necessary presentation facilities like overhead projectors and screens. AUDITORIUM NITIE houses a fully air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 200. The auditorium is acoustically designed and used for lectures, screening of management films and executive development programmes. RECREATIONAL FACILITIES Facilities available for various sports like Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Carom, Cricket etc. These facilities ensure that our future managers are healthy and physically fit. Spending time leisurely and relaxing are some of the methods of relieving stress. Hostel common room takes care of this with good music system, television and leisure reading material.
