NIOS Online Admission 2014-15

Welcome to NIOS Online Admission for all learners 2014-15 Section. You will find here National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Procedure for filling up the Form, eligibility criteria, fee structure online. On Line Admission Session 2014-14 Stream -1 Block-I for April 2014 Examination is now Open till 30th August 2014.

NIOS has introduced 100% On-line admission. Under this scheme learners have the options to

  • register themselves On-line directly
  • may visit their nearest Accredited Institution (AI) (study centre)/Facilitation Centre and take their help for On-line registration.
  • may visit their Regional Centre for on line-registration.
  • The cost of the Study Material is included in the Fees and will be delivered to you at your address provided by you during the Registration free of cost. Do not accept any VPP Parcel from anybody.

Fee Structure

Fee Structure (Without Late Fee) for Stream 1 of Online Admission

Supporting Documents required from the Exempted Categories

Category Supporting Documents required
(i) SC/ST candidates Copy of certificate issued by the Deputy Commissioner,Magistrate or Commissioner SC/ST duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
(ii) Ex-servicemen A certificate from the Employer.
(iii) Differently-abled persons A certificate from a Govt. Hospital, and not from a private nursing home, clearly indicating nature and extent of disability.

 

Confirmation of Admission

Admission to a particular course is normally confirmed by NIOS by issuing an Identity Card having your admission particulars as per the record available in NIOS. If any discrepancy is noticed at any stage of admission even if the Identity Card is issued, the admission will be cancelled and result will not be declared even if appeared in examination.

Do check the particulars given in the Identity Card. Discrepancies, if any, may be brought to the notice of the AI immediately. The Identity Card will be issued only once. You should retain your Identity Card carefully till you complete your study in NIOS.

Learners appearing in external Public Examinatio/ODES will be required to produce the Identity Card issued by NIOS at the time of appearing in Examination failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the Examination.
