PARK GLOBAL SCHOOL OF BUSINESS EXCELLENCE

The University of Missouri-St. Louis is one of four campuses that constitute the University of Missouri, a State University founded in 1839 and the ninth largest university in the United States. Nearly 16,000 students are currently enrolled at UM-St. Louis, making it the largest university in the city. UMSL is ranked in the Top 10 by US News and World Report for its International Business Program. UMSL’s MBA Program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Park Global has recently signed an MoU with Florida International University (FIU), Miami, USA. Florida International University is Miami-Dade County’s first public, four-year university FIU opened for classes in 1972 with 5,667 students - the largest opening day enrollment in U.S. collegiate history. Park Global is in collaboration with the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), which has been ranked 8th in the United States by US News & World Report. The collaborative arrangement paves way for intense faculty and student interaction between UMSL and Park Global. Park Global School of Business Excellence, established by Park Group – leaders in quality higher education for over four decades – is an autonomous institution approved by AICTE offering PGDM Programme in two locations: Chennai and Coimbatore. Park Global PGDM is a fully residential programme conducted in state-of-the-art campuses The first set of Park Global students (from Batch 2009) selected under the MoU is already in UMSL for their final year studies and paid internship. The second set of students selected from Batch 2010 is preparing to join UMSL during June 2009. First set of students selected from Batch 2010 are preparing to join FIU for their second year of study during June 2009.

10% of Park Global students, subject to satisfying UMSL norms, have the opportunity of pursuing courses/trimesters at UMSL with seamless credit transfers from Park Global. In the same way 10% of the students of UMSL have opportunity to pursue courses/trimesters at Park Global. Such students will also have opportunity to take up Industry Internship in partner countries. The first set of Park Global students selected under the MoU have already joined UMSL during 2008-09 for their final year studies and paid internship.
