Established in the year 2006 by Sri Nidamanuri Educational Society, is committed to promote Pharmaceutical education in Prakasam District. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The management strives hard to enhance the professional knowledge, skills and attitudes of educators, so that they might in turn improve the learning process of students. The college aims at developing a deep understanding of the human values and social concerns among the graduates. Students will be encouraged to get equipped and sensitized to understand full implications of their decisions, actions and ever inactions.
Above all the college will promote Pharmacy Education to meet the requirements of a developing nation in he context of global concern at the threshold of the twenty-first century. Pharmacy Education
Pharmacy is an integral part of the health care system and thus is a nobel profession. It provides ample opportunity for students to perform their professional obligations and service to patients. Pharmacists from an important link between physician and patients and thus provide an important advisory role. They provide the technical information on medicines, understand the principles of quality assurance as applied to medicine, and are able to provide advice to patients with minor illness and people suffering from chronic diseases. Also Pharmacists are responsible for production and quality control of drug dosage forms. Our nation needs qualified and competent local pharmacists to manage the work in hospital, Private Pharmacies, Ministries, Teaching Institutions and Pharmaceutical Industries.
