Sarasvati Vidya Bhawan’s College of Pharmacy

April 14, 1983 : Saraswathi Vidya Bhavan was established to realize the vision of bringing/
adding professionalism to education.

September 13, 1993 : First year of approval form All India Council of Technical Education
(AICTE) was obtained for admitting the first batch of 60 students for
B.Pharm. Of Pharmacy was established.

The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is recognized by all India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra and the Pharmacy Council of India

It is established and managed by Saraswathi Vidya Bhavan, and Education Trust registered with the Charity Commissioner, Greater Mumbai, bearing Registration No. E -10334 (Bom.)

The College is located in a magnificent building of Ground +3 floors on a sprawling land of 5 acres, amidst green and serene surroundings, conducive to research and higher studies.

The campus is surrounded by a belt of chemical and pharmaceutical industries acting just as hinterland to a port.

The college building came-up at Dombivli (East) providing spacious and airy class rooms, well equipped laboratories, established modern library, spacious reading rooms, instrument rooms, aseptic rooms, canteen, recreation centre, counseling centre ,Hostel Facilities for boys and girls are available adjacent to the college with canteen arrangements. A well planned garden with spacious lawn and plants are conspicuously provided to add to its aesthetic look.

Faculty:

The faculty meets more than the norms prescribed by AICTE and the University of Mumbai with versatility in teaching. To enhance the appeal and effectiveness of teaching, computer aided teaching and multimedia CD’s are generally used, Guest lectures are arranged on regular basis wherein the veterans and experts from Pharmaceutical field share their expertise.
