Banking and financial institutions are on the look out for brilliant law graduates for drafting, documentation and scrutiny of deeds etc., Preparation of legal opinion or law reporting requires professional competence and experience. Corporate sector demands personnel with legal back ground for its various departments to ensure efficiency in the discharge of its responsibilities. Legal process outsourcing is on the increase day by day. Employment avenues, therefore, for young and well equipped law graduates are steadily increasing.
With salary package soaring new high and foreign placements gaining importance, legal education has become the one of the most preferred career options for the student community as a whole and the wards of the legal professionals in particular. In this context Saveetha School of Law has planned to invite the attention of discerning students of science, commerce and humanities streams for training them to become efficient legal professionals catering to the needs of the global economy.

Saveetha School of Law is established with the twin objects; Viz

1.To produce professionally competent lawyers for active practice ,and

In this background , 5 yrs integrated B.A., B.L., (Hons) degree course in a trimester pattern is boon to the students’ community as well as to the society , which looks out for the inculcating social awareness among the youth resulting the betterment of society. The Law School will shoulder the responsibilities of instilling professionalism in legal education to make it attractive to the intelligentsia

Admission Procedure:
The admission for B.A.B.L. (Hons) is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Qualifying Examination and the performance in the Entrance Examination. The Entrance Exam will be held on 26.06.2010 at 10.00 am at the Examination Hall, Saveetha University, 162, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai - 600 077.

Entrance Examination:
The Entrance Examination Hall Ticket will be sent by post to the eligible applicants before 20.06.2010. The Entrance examination will be held in the Conference Hall on 26.06.2010 at 10.00 am at the Saveetha University, 162, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai - 600 077.

The admission will be done purely on merit,based on the performance in the entrance examination. Seat allotment will be done based on the rank list subject to fulfilment of the eligiblity criteria.
