Jyoti Maheshwari Foundation is a Charitable Trust, registered with Charity Commissioner of Greater Mumbai, Maharashtra. Till Year 2002 the Foundation was working in the state of Maharashtra, thereafter the focus if the Trustees shifted to their hometown Bagar in District Jhunjhunu of Rajasthan. Working towards its mission, the first step was the establishment of Shivonkar Maheshwari Technical Institute at Bagar, in the year 2004. Ranking amongst the best technical institutes in Rajasthan, it provides training in various courses.
The immediate and direct benefits of technical education from Shivonkar Maheshwari Technical Institute, to the regional population, inspired the trustees one more project for the benefit of the people of Shekhawati region a Pharmacy College.
The vision for community well being and good health of people renewed our enthusiasm to serve the people. Jyoti Maheshwari Foundation established KRISHNADEVI MAHESHWARI PHARMACY COLLEGE in the year 2007.
The campus is located on a 12 acre land, on the main Sikar-Loharu State Highway. It has an independent building with workshops, hostel, and staff quarters. The entire cost of the institute has been borne by Jyoti Maheshwari Foundation without any aid or loan from Govt., Bank or Financial Institution. The sole motto of the college is to provide quality education to the deserving students at no profit no loss basis.
Bagar is one of the oldest and prominent towns of Shekhawati region in Rajasthan, it is situated on the Sikar-Loharu State Highway between District Headquarter Jhunjhunu and Chirawa, and well connected by road & rail from Jaipur and Delhi. With a modest population of around 15,000 people. Bagar boasts of a strength of about 8,000 students. This makes Bagar a major education centre in the region. Students from all over Rajasthan and nearby Haryana & Punjab study in its various schools and colleges.
