The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) is one of the seven higher Institutes of Technology in the country set up with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research and training in various fields of Science and Technology.
The Institute on an average admits 500 candidates for the undergraduate programme through Joint Entrance Exam(JEE), 100 candidates for M.Sc. programmes, 550 candidates for different postgraduate programmes and 110 for Ph.D programmes every year.
