Vel's Educational Trust is a private, chartable and educational organisation established in 1992. The Trust was founded by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh, M.Com., B.L., Ph.D, M.B.A., a visionary and an eminent educationist, in fond memory of his reserved father Thiru Ishari D. Velan, who was a member , Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Deputy Minister, Government of Tami Nadu and a well known Cine Artiste.

Paramedical Science, the supporting pillars of modern day therapy, are becoming more prominent in the health care system by rendering their relentless services to the suffering humanity.
Vael' s Educational Trust runs two colleges under the broad name of Paramedical Sciences, namely Vel's College of Pharmacy and Vel's College of Physiotherapy. These are unaided co-educational institutions functioning in the same campus of the Trust. The college provide excellent educational facilities for the young aspiring students. The Infrastructural facilities help to carry out research on par with international standards. The college undertake collaborative research projects with various organisation and hospitals. Campus Interviews are Conducted regularly for providing better placement for the students. A combination of B.Pharmacy and M.B.A. from a reputed institute is most sought after in the industry.
