BBA | Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a bachelor's degree in business administration. BBA degree is granted after completion of four years of full-time study (120 credit hours) in one or more areas of business concentrations. The BBA program usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific specializations. Alternative degree titles include Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), and Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS).

What is BBA

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)/BBS (Bachelor of Business Studies) is a four-year full-time course that is designed to give the basic knowledge and a clear understanding of all the functions of a company like marketing, finance, systems, human resource management etc. and in that respect is similar to an MBA program. In the final year, the student can specialize in any one stream.

BBA develops a student's managerial skills by giving him/her a broader perspective through knowledge of all functions, enhancing his decision-making capability and sharpening his communication skills. The methodology involves training through practical experience in the form of case studies, projects, presentations, industrial visits, and interaction with experts from the industry. With such inputs, BBA graduates have an edge over other graduates and get direct entry into the corporate world.
